The work wishes to create an impossible cycle inside the exhibition space. Plants processed by removing chlorophyll lay scattered on the floor, the colour scale of the view outside the room of a hospice are translated as colour filters applied to the neon lights shining the room and at intervals a mist appears in the space.

These elements should normally allow for growth to happen, for regeneration to take place, but in this case the lack of chlorophyll of the plants keeps them paused in time.

The work explores the struggle of not accepting, of trying nevertheless to re-give life, of maintaining life. We know that the plants will not continue to grow, but in this environment, this silent cycle is still hoped for.
